Chuck the Spy: Irreplaceable

45b7b19cb4_Chuck_S4DVDSeason 4 of the popular TV show Chuck had many ups and downs and great moments.  One episode which was quite memorable to me was episode 18.  In Chuck Season 4 episode 18, two new agents are brought in.  These 2 agents seem to be just about perfect at everything, so Chuck and Sarah become worried about their jobs.  They feel that they are going to be replaced. However, by the end of the episode, Chuck proves that he is not inept, and gets to keep his job.

Chuck Season 4 Episode 18 Trailer

I definitely know what it feels like to think that you are going to be replaced.  I used to work for a company where I was the only person performing a certain task for the unit that I worked in.  However, I later discovered that there was a whole team of people performing the same task in a different part of the company.  From that point on, I became worried that I would lose my job because there was a whole team performing the same function.  In the end, I was totally wrong, but knowledge of the other team caused a lot of anxiety and grief.

Have you ever felt like you were in jeopardy of being replaced? Has there ever been a time where you have been made to feel outdated? If so, how did you remedy your situation? Did it end well?
