Discover the Yummy Goodness of Greek Yogurt

Greek Yogurt with StrawberriesOver the course of the next couple of week, I’m going to be writing a series of posts about Greek Yogurt.

Why Greek yogurt? Well a few years ago, I bumped into a co-worker of mine in the company pantry.  She was eating a container of yogurt that looked nothing like the yogurts I had seen and eaten before.  It was so thick and creamy looking.  I asked her about it and she stated to me that what she was eating was Greek yogurt.   We chit chatted about it for a few minutes and I vowed that I would try it soon.  Fast forward one year later, and I still hadn’t tried it out yet.

One day while at the grocery store, I noticed that they were having a sale on a few different brands of Greek yogurt.  I decided that it was about time that I tried it, so I bought a couple different tubs of the stuff.  I’m so glad I finally decided to try it.  Greek yogurt has now become a staple in my diet.   I eat it straight from the tub, use it in recipes and use it as a marinade, among other things.

So I decided to write about it so that you too can discover the yummy goodness of Greek yogurt and not wait like I did.

Here is the list (that may grow over the next week or two) of topics that I will cover:

Have you tried Greek yogurt?  How do you like it?  How do you use it? Please leave your thoughts about Greek yogurt in the comment section below.
