Shop at Jet.com For a Unique One-Stop Shopping ExperienceHave you heard of Jet.com? I must confess that I heard about it late last year but somehow totally forgot about it.  I am so glad I re-discovered the site though because you can save some serious money shopping there. They offer a unique shopping experience that I have never seen before. Basically, the more you shop, the more you save! This makes it the perfect site for one-stop shopping.

I did most of my back to school shopping on Jet.com this year. Since Z.E.N. goes to a Catholic school and wears a uniform, the only thing I really needed to tackle was the list of school supplies that his teacher sent.  Last year when I was shopping for school supplies, I thought ahead and bought. These are the items that I purchased.

Shopping at Jet.com

1.  12 pack of Crayola Short Barrel Colored Woodcase Pencils

2.  Pack of 12 Red Bic Cristal Xtra Smooth Ballpoint Stick Pens

3.  2 pack of Glue Sticks

4.  16 oz. bag of Pyure Stevia

5.  White Avery Binder with 1″ Slant Rings

6.  Black Marble Composition Notebook

7.  Pack of 12 Blue BIC Cristal Xtra Smooth Ballpoint Stick Pens

8.  Biscoff Cookie Butter Spread 14.1Ounce

9. 2 Boxes of Seventh Generation Facial Tissues, 85 Sheets

10. Frito Lay Chips Classic Mix Multipack, 20 Ct

11. 10-oz. Stainless-Steel Double-Wall Vacuum Insulation Food Jar

My entire order came up to $53.32. I was able to save a few different ways.  First off, I shopped using my debit card. Jet.com offers shoppers a discount on any order when they pay using their debit card as opposed to a credit card.

I also opted out of free returns.  When you opt out of free returns on an item, Jet.com is able save that cost, so you’ll wind up paying less. You’ll still be able to make a return if you need to, but keep in mind that you’ll be asked to pay a fee of $5.99 plus 5% of the item price. That’s a pretty hefty penalty, so it’s a good idea to only opt out of returns for things that you are pretty sure that you are not going to return.save by opting out of returns and paying with a debit card. Savings at Jet.com

As I added more and more items to my cart, the prices started to drop.

Why prices drop at Jet.com

The site has a savings incentive that is offered to shoppers who buy multiple products together. This category of products is identified with a red sales tag as shown in the image above. These products generally cost less when bought together. The more of these items you purchase, the more you will save.

Finally, they also offer free shipping! Jet.com offers free shipping on orders above $35. In addition, they offer two-day shipping for items that are mailed directly from a fulfillment center. However, orders that are filled by other third-party vendors can take up to 5 days to arrive, and they do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska.

I find Jet.com to be a convenient and affordable shopping site. Because of the numerous shopping incentives like price discounts, free returns on items bought, discounts for waiving free returns or using debit cards, and saving on multiple purchases made together, it’s the perfect place to get all your shopping  done.  Plus, not having to leave my house is awesome. This time around, I shopped for school supplies, but they have just about everything you could possibly need, from dorm appliances and  cleaning supplies, to laptops and tablets, on their site. One-stop shopping at it’s finest!
