Why I’m Smiling It Forward for Charity

As a mom, I know that children are happiest when they are healthy. The five words I hate to hear come out of my son’s mouth are “Mom, I don’t feel well,” because along with those words come days of misery for both of us. However, once he recovers, his feel-better smile is quite a relief and very uplifting.

TYLENOL® has brought healthy smiles to children for generations. When my son was very young, TYLENOL® was the product that the pediatrician always recommended to me and still does. Since it came highly recommended, it was a product that I always trusted and felt comfortable giving to my son.

Now you can partner with TYLENOL® to bring essential services and better health to other children by participating in the SMILING IT FORWARD™ campaign. Want to participate? Well it’s easy. All you have to do is head over to the Smiling It Forward website and upload a photo that makes you smile. Every time you submit a photo, TYLENOL® will donate a dollar to Children’s Health Fund.* This organization will help children receive the health care they need.

I uploaded this photo earlier because I just love how happy my son looks here:

I am very grateful that our family has health insurance and access to great doctors that we can rely on. Unfortunately, there are many families out there who cannot afford basic health services for their children. All it takes to make a difference is interest from moms like you. Make a note to yourself to send in their pictures the next time you see those feel-better smiles. Not only can your own children look forward to healthier futures, this small step on your part can help other children in need have better health. It is a simple way to do something great for children.
