This post is Sponsored by Mirum Shopper.

Do you take time to celebrate everyday life moments? While many of us look forward to vacations and special holidays, the fact is that the majority of our time is spent accomplishing the everyday things that life entails. Since a life celebrated is a life well spent, it’s important to find the extraordinary in the mundane and lift common experience up to the height of celebrated moments. Doing so, will not only enrich our lives but will have a positive effect on the lives of others and the world at large. With this noble cause in mind, here are 5 simple ways to celebrate everyday life moments.

Celebrate the everyday - Italian proverb

1. Keep Good Notes

You don’t have to be Hemingway to keep a journal that offers remembrances of everyday moments. If you commute on a train, take time to write down your observations. Keep a notebook to jot down thoughts in cafes or simply describe your surroundings in detail. This practice will assist you in seeing your everyday settings with a fresh set of eyes.

celebrate the everyday by keeping a journal for memories.

2. Be Here Now

Living in the moment not only offers to enrich our everyday experiences but can actually make our lives seem longer. The more acute and aware one is, the more perception can contain depth and even expand. Concentrating on breathing can help a person to achieve this state. This practice can help us to appreciate each moment even if the moment happens to be a more challenging one.

3. Document with Pictures

Your cell phone camera offers a great way to capture everyday moments but don’t stop after taking the photo. Be sure to print at least some of your pictures. Printing photos allows you to have a tangible memory to look back on and celebrate a moment over and over again. If you take photos of some of your everyday experiences, you will be given the power to see them in a different light.

4. Share Everyday Life Moments on Social Media

Of course, everyone wants to see pictures of the cruise that you took last summer or hear about that promotion you just received at work but sharing everyday life moments will allow others to enjoy your presence on social media without feeling that life is a competition. A picture of a simple meal with a few words or an inspirational quote will help you to celebrate and allow countless others to join in the fun.

5. Share a Meal

Food is an important part of any celebration. Celebrating with food is part of most cultures. It’s a great way to connect with your family and make great memories.  Whipping up a great meal is easy with options like Bertolli and P.F. Chang’s Meals for Two. For us, a celebratory meal does not have to be extravagant, it just needs to taste great! Bertolli’s Frozen Chicken Florentine meets the criteria. It’s their version of the classic Italian favorite, Farfalle with grilled chicken and spinach, and a really tasty sauce.

I like keeping a few of these on hand in my freezer. They are also available in a convenient family sized package.
