If you're going to be visiting New Jersey soon, then you are likely finalizing your plans. There are transportation plans and hotel reservations to make, and you must also decide what you're going to do for entertainment while you're there. If you have children, then you will want to be sure to plan some activities that are kid-friendly. New Jersey is full of kid-friendly entertainment, with the Liberty Science Center being top on the list of places to visit in New Jersey with kids.

What's so great about Liberty Science Center?

One aspect of this super entertaining attraction is the IMAX theatre. Your children will want to watch movies in this theatre again and again because of the astounding details and clarity. The choice of movies are interesting for children, as well, with titles like: “Mysteries of the Unseen World,” “Island of Lemurs: Madagascar,” and numerous others.

Exciting attractions

Liberty Science Center also offers some one-of-a-kind exhibits that are extremely fun for children. Here are just a few of their unique and exciting exhibits that your kids are bound to love:

Sesame Street Presents: The Body Exhibit — Every young child loves Big Bird, Bert & Ernie and the rest of Sesame Street gang. This exhibit allows children between the ages of 2- 8 to learn about their bodies while interacting with various Sesame Street characters. If you visit on one of the special dates, then your children will have the opportunity to meet Elmo in person.

Beyond Rubik's Cube exhibit — This exhibit is another popular choice at the science center. Children of all ages will thoroughly enjoy exploring this 7,000 square foot museum based on the Rubik's Cube. Filled with numerous games, puzzles, art and more, the Beyond Rubik's Cube exhibit is one that your children will want to spend hours at.


Eat and Be Eaten — This exhibit is filled with real life animals that adapt to different environments in unique ways. Mom & Dad may love “Eat and Be Eaten” as much as the children, because the animals there have amazing abilities. In addition to appearing to be invisible, some of the animals at this exhibit have the ability to drastically change their appearance. Some of them can even make themselves look like your favorite treat.

As long as your plan your trip to New Jersey carefully, your entire family can have an absolute blast. Children will fall in love with Liberty Science Center for many reasons, which is why you should definitely make plans to spend a day there. Not only will your children be entertained, but they will learn a great deal in the process.
