Each year little trick-or-treaters roam the streets loot bags in hand. If you are one of those urban dwellers that hands out candy each year, why not try something a little different this year. There are various alternatives to candy and not only would parents appreciate help against the candy overload, but it also provides variety for the children. Of course, what you choose to hand out will also depend on your budget and how many trick-or-treaters you have knocking on your door each year.

  • My kids are huge fans of super cool erasers. We get a big bag of them, hand those out instead of candy. Kids love them. I guess when they take them to school, it’s cool to have fun ones, instead of the boring pink eraser!
