Happenstance Meetings #ConnectingFlights

As most of you already know, we love to travel as a family, and try to get away as often as we can.  Traveling can be very stressful at times though, especially when you miss a connecting flight.  Have you ever missed a connecting flight?  We have and I can tell you it’s not fun at all.  But sometimes it can be!  How so you ask?  Well I just watched this really cute video which shows that missing a connecting flight can sometimes be a good thing.  In the video, a man and a woman, both bloggers, happen to miss their connecting flights. What ensues next is a budding romance and a few funny mishaps.  You have to watch it to see what I mean!

I’ve never found love while traveling through airports, but as unbelievable as it may sound, I have bumped into a  few people I knew while traveling.  On one trip in particular, I bumped into three people I knew.  A few years back, I was on my way to the Caribbean and bumped into one of my cousins who was also traveling on that day.  On my flight back home, I bumped into two more people I knew. One of them was a woman I went to law school with and the other was a family friend.  Weird right?

So although the thought of two people finding love at the airport can sound a little far fetched, my experience shows that you never know who you’ll meet up with at an airport!
