Kristen is now a holistic health counselor. She has been a widowed mother and is a twenty year veteran of corporate America. She has experienced personal loss and stress first hand. Now she is using her knowledge to help others find happiness and peace.

“When I was 31, I suddenly lost my healthy young husband to a heart attack,” says the author. “I was a widow and a working single mother. I had to manage a home all by myself. I was overwhelmed. I had to learn to coach myself to overcome my stress. By working through all the pain and suffering, I learned a lot and developed my Happy Hour Effect message. I want to help others to overcome their biggest challenges just like I had to do.”

The Happy Hour Effect message shows readers some simple yet effective solutions that will relieve stress and improve life. Whether the issue is sex, parenting, pets, or simply relaxing, every chapter is geared to explaining how to deal with a certain type of stress and overcome it. The book is filled with inspiring tips and secrets, along with links to information online. Each chapter will help the reader come alive. The book is an effective guide to help readers learn how to de-stress and become happier and healthier.
