Have you heard about the new KitchenAid Artisan Mini Stand Mixer? In 2016, KitchenAid released a ground-breaking addition to its already impressive lineup of mixers – the Artisan Mini. My mother gave me a white KitchenAid mixer when I got married. It has served me well, but it takes up a lot of counter space. A few years ago, we tore down a wall in our kitchen to create more of an open floor plan, however; we wound up losing a lot of counter space, so we have been slowly trying to declutter our remaining cabinet space and counters. Replacing our clunky appliances with smaller ones has been helpful. When I heard about this new smaller KitchenAid mixer, I knew I had to have it. Not only is it smaller, it also comes in a variety of gorgeous colors. I got it in silver. Below are some specific details on why you should become an owner of the KitchenAid Artisan Mini Stand Mixer:

Compact Size
In contrast to other stand mixers manufactured by the brand, the KitchenAid Artisan Mini Stand Mixer is 25 percent lighter. In the past, I used to ask Philip to move the mixer when I need to move it, but now that it weighs less, I can move it around myself. It’s also 20 percent smaller. This makes it ideal for smaller kitchens. However, do not be fooled by its compact size. This tilt-head stand mixer can outdo a full-size stand mixer. The KitchenAid mini stand mixer is outfitted with a 3.3-liter bowl that is perfect for preparing as many as five dozen cookies.

Power
Just because it’s smaller, doesn’t mean it’s weaker. The small size of this mixer has done nothing to compromise its power and versatility. It packs a whopping 250 watts of power, which is comparable to its bigger counterparts.

Slow Start Feature
This is one of my favorite features. This mini mixer has 10 speeds. All the speeds come with a soft start feature. This means that when you choose one of the higher speeds, the mixer doesn’t immediately start at that speed. It will automatically start at a lower speed. This helps prevent splattering or causing a cloud of flour. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been engulfed in a cloud of flour!

Attachments
The KitchenAid Mini comes with three standard attachments. There is a flat beater for mixing and creaming, a dough hook for slow mixing and kneading, and a wire whip for whisking. You can also add more attachments to turn your mixer into a shredder, spiralizer, pasta maker and more.
You can find the KitchenAid Artisan Mini Stand Mixer at your local Best Buy or online at BestBuy.com.

Easy Homemade Ice Cream Recipe

The first thing I made with my new KitchenAid mini mixer was my easy homemade ice cream recipe. We absolutely love ice cream in this house. I’ve been wanting to make my own ice cream, but I don’t have an ice cream maker. No problem though, I figured out how to make homemade ice cream without an ice cream maker. I can whip up a batch of ice cream in no time with my mixer. Here is my recipe for homemade ice cream. What’s even better about this recipe is that you only need four ingredients to make it!
