Creating New Family Holiday Traditions With Hickory Farms

The holidays are approaching very quickly.  I’m actually quite excited, because I love the holiday season. If it weren’t for family holiday traditions though, the holidays would not be enjoyable. When I was a kid, we went to my aunt’s house every year for Thanksgiving. My mom always hosted Christmas, and we always trekked to Philadelphia on New Year’s Day.  Now that I have a family of my own, i have been creating new family holiday traditions of my own. For instance, on Christmas morning before we head over to my mom’s house, we go to my mother in laws house for a big family breakfast.

Since food is always a big part of every holiday tradition, we’re always looking for great food items to give as gifts. Last year we purchased quite a few tins of gourmet cookies to give out as gifts.  This year we’re trying something new.  We are going to gift a few people with holiday gourmet gift baskets  like this one from Hickory Farms:

Hickory Farms Tea Time Collection

Are you familiar with Hickory Farms?  Hickory Farms is actually America’s most well known holiday food gift brand.  It has been enjoyed by holiday shoppers seeking the perfect gifts for family and friends for more than 60 years.

While Hickory farms was not always a part of my family traditions growing up,  many American families have distinct memories of Hickory Farms at their holiday gatherings. In fact, many people would agree that that holiday shopping season officially begins when they see Hickory Farms arrive at their local mall.

Ready to try Hickory Farms food gifts yourself? You’re in luck! You can purchase it at Holiday Market locations nationwide, on and at leading retailers. I am also running a giveaway for a Hickory Farms gift basket. Enter via the rafflecopter form below. Good luck!
