5 Grilled Pork Recipes For Labor Day

This is a sponsored post for the National Pork Board, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Labor Day is just about here. It’s a time to say goodbye to carefree summer days, and embrace the coming of the busy fall season.  Labor Day is also the perfect day for grilling. Instead of grilling boring foods like hot-dogs and hamburgers, why not try adding some pork to the mix instead. Many cuts of pork  are naturally low in fat and the protein in pork chops does double duty by helping to power the muscles and burn fat.  It’s also pretty tasty in my opinion, so eat up this Labor Day! Here are 5 grilled pork recipes for Labor Day that you should consider grilling this weekend:

Asian Pork & Pineapple Skewers _ Cubes of pork loin chops are marinated & are skewered with chunks of sweet pineapple, red pepper & red onion before going on the grill. The marinating liquid - pineapple juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, & sesame oil - is brought to a boil & turned into a fantastic sauce to pour over the skewers.
