7 Winter Birthday Party Ideas

Winter can be a wonderful time to celebrate a birthday. Not only is it a magical time of the year because of all of the holidays, but because of the local scenery and environmental changes. Consider some of these winter birthday party ideas and see how much fun they can be to throw for your child.

Skiing Trip

If you have the budget available, why not take your child out on a party that they will never forget? A skiing trip with them and their closest friends can be a great way to enjoy the cool air and seasonal activities. Don’t have the budget for a ski trip? Well this ski lodge birthday party idea looks like a ton of fun!

Winter Wonderland

One of the best winter party themes is a winter wonderland. The best part about it is that you can get as creative as you want! Decorate your home with wintery decorations such as snowmen, and icicles. and banners.  Check out this whimsical winter wonderland party for tons of ideas.

Frozen Birthday Party

The Disney movie Frozen was such a hit and I’m betting that a Frozen birthday party would be a hit as well. This mom did a great job with her elegant frozen birthday party.  All the party decor looks great.

Winter Themed Laser Tag

Everybody loves a good round of laser tag. You can apply the same decorative principles to the laser tag party area as you would to your home depending on what the venue allows, all while allowing your children to just have fun in the laser tag area itself.

Snow Wars Party

This can be a more intensive party idea, but if you are up for it, your child will never forget it. Decorate your backyard with a massive snowball fight in mind, with all of the same interior decorations that would seasonally dazzle. Prepare forts and barricades, and watch your kids have fun with the snow!

Winter Scavenger Hunt

This can be a particularly fun idea for a younger child’s winter themed birthday in mind. Prepare a few items that you would want to include in the scavenger hunt list, and decorate the area appropriately, with plenty of time for rest and relaxation in between finds.
